1. How long does it take to complete a custom paint job?
The timeline depends on the complexity of the design and the size of the project. Most models take 2–4 weeks in total, sometimes even less or more. I’ll provide a more accurately estimated timeline when we discuss your project, though.
2. Do you work with other model kits or just Gunpla?
While my primary focus is on Gundam kits (at the moment), I’m open to working on other types of model kits, including 3d kits and models in the future. Feel free to reach out, and we can discuss your idea!
3. How do you ensure the paint won’t chip or fade?
This is a pretty case by case topic but for most models I will use protective clear coats in matte and gloss, depending on what is most appropriate. Sometimes though, protective coats cant really be applied if I am using things like black 3.0 paint, as it would make it less effective at achieving what it is made to do. If any product doesn't have protective clear coats on any parts or if the paint is easily damage, it will be listed. If not, rest assured all parts have been either matte or gloss clear coated depending on what is more appropriate for each part.
4. What if I’m not satisfied with the final result?
Your satisfaction is my top priority. I’ll send high quality photos and full 360 videos of WIP and final finishes at every stage on every part when requested to make sure this doesn't happen.
5. Can I provide a partially assembled or pre-painted model?
I can work with and refurbish pre painted models. but not pre assembled models, as the final price wouldn't be much different than if I were to buy the kit myself and do the same work to it. Doing this is also better for me to familiarize myself withy every part of the kit, erase all nub marks, make sure there are no stress marks and eliminate all mistakes.
6. How do I care for my painted model?
To keep your Gundam looking its best:
Personally, all my finished models are stored in a dark and dry place, inside of glass cabinets to make sure nothing happens to them. Of course this is not necessary though, especially if you want to display your model. Just try to not damage it to ensure nothing happens to the paint and place it in a clear display ideally to prevent it from collecting any dust.
7. How do I get a quote for my project?
